This is a large collage self-portrait composed of many favorite people, places and elements. Ocean maps form the background “sky”, a crown of a black sun is a vinyl Bowie album, with rays of memories. A redwood tree, paint brushes and antlers erupt from my head. My dear love pokes up from between my breasts, covered in folds of my favorite color alizarin crimson. Silhouettes of my young children corner anchor the base.
