The War On Women - a body of art addressing abortion and abuse
Art depicting the emotional trauma of illegal abortions, abuse, sexual assault and domestic violence. These portraits convey the long overdue need for equal rights for women - they should not be victims to be hunted or forced into giving birth.

Receptionists at a pair of women’s health clinics a mile and a half apart, 25-year-old Shannon Lowney and Leeann Nichols, 38, died within minutes of each other Friday when both were gunned down at their desks. Leanne Nichols was a receptionist at the Preterm Health Services clinic. Of her daughter’s alleged murderer, she told an Ohio television station: “If they would put him before me, I would shoot him myself.”
