abandoned places and scenes
Once We Were Here contains landscape and urban scenes, occasionally with a surreal juxtaposition. Often of abandoned places or forgotten things, void of human life. Sometimes with an apocalyptic feel, or a future world in which the environment has been altered by humanities presence. Many questions were inspirations – who lived here? Where have they gone? And often an appreciation for long gone vintage styles in architecture or rustic hand painted signage.

Cazadero Treehouse
When I’ve gone on my frequent walks along Austin Creek in Cazadero, California - I have always loved peeking at this abandoned treehouse tucked back in the redwoods. I just love all treehouses!
